Live via Zoom, replay included.
Clients need natural-sounding audio, but processing can make breaths intrusive and loud. In this webinar I’ll teach you how to handle breaths so your audio still sounds great even after compression.
If you’re part of Be Seen Be Heard, you get this webinar (and every other B Double E webinar) included in your membership at no extra cost.
Not a member yet? Be Seen Be Heard gives you free access to webinars like this one, plus coaching, forums, socials and more, for just £35 per month.
I’ll take you through which genres need what kind of treatment, and how best to deal with breaths in each situation.
As we process audio to make it usable for clients, imperfections come to light. Breaths are one of the most common, and they’re much more noticeable and distracting after processing than before. So you need to know when a breath has become distracting, and how to fix it without making it worse.
Different genres of voiceover work need different approaches, so I’ll cover several ways of keeping the very best quality audio, whatever you’re recording.
There are a few different de-breathing techniques, and different programs handle it in slightly different ways (though there’s a lot of overlap). I’ll walk through several programs and as many methods as I can fit in.
