Well, what an amazing event the One Voice Conference 2019 was. It was fantastic to meet so many people at such a packed-full event.
This year we were sponsors, so had an expo stand over the weekend. It was a great chance to chat to people about all things audio, voiceover and branding and we will be looking into launching some new services based on the conversations we’ve had with you all!
There was so much to do, both with workshops and talks and social events. Rob hosted a talk on Friday afternoon, ‘The Simple Solution To Your Home Studio Problem’ and followed it with a workshop about troubleshooting your home studio problems.
Rob had lots of enquiries about his next studio tickling tour. He’s planning a south UK tour in early June, and starting to plan his first ever Scottish tickling tour, which should be in early July. If you want to book a visit, message Rob for details.
Thursday night was gin bar night, hosted and sponsored by One Gin. Great gin made by an ethical company – what more could you ask for? The return of the Friday night boat party was eagerly anticipated, and this year no rain making it even better than last year.
Saturday night was the One Voice Awards Night. Huge congratulations to everyone who got though to the finals and very well done to the winners, who fought off some stiff competition!
We’re now exhausted, having stood up (almost non-stop) for 4 days & nights. We’ve had so many great conversations with voiceovers from around the world, and hope to keep in touch with you all – I’ll be finding you all on Facebook and Instagram soon! We will definitely be back next year and hope to see you all again too!
